Renewing your vows, or planning an unforgettable honeymoon, Switzerland is a great choice

Unfortunately, it is not possible for UK, EU or other nationalities, but who are not 'habitually-resident' in Switzerland, to have a legally-binding wedding in the country. However, it is possible to organise various non-legally-binding ceremonies, such as a ‘renewal of vows’ in a whole variety of wonderfully romantic locations including churches, castles, mountain huts, on the ski slopes, in vineyards or beautiful lake-side gardens just to give you a few ideas. All are, of course, surrounded by Switzerland’s stunning scenery. We can assist you with the necessary organisation of all the arrangements.

Switzerland is a fantastic destination for honeymoons at any time of year. In winter, you can celebrate your marriage with a great ski holiday, staying in a variety of accommodation styles. We can normally persuade the hoteliers to make sure that you are spoilt rotten, and given various room upgrades and other honeymooner benefits.

In the summer months, you can look at different great honeymoon ideas, whether you are looking to be active walking or biking in the mountains, or looking for a more restful time, enjoying the lazing around by one of the many beautiful lakes, and just taking in the views.

Switzerland’s wonderful cities make for great honeymoon destinations too – with each of its main regional cities offering something different and unique – whether it is the romance of Italian-speaking Lugano, the chic and sophistication of French-speaking Geneva, the elegance and grace of German-speaking Zurich, and even Switzerland’s oldest city, Chur, in the predominantly Romansch-speaking region of the Graubünden has its own unique character and style.

Whatever type of honeymoon you opt for, we’ll make sure that the ‘little extras’ will make this the perfect start for your life in love together.
