Tailor Made Holidays in Switzerland - you tell us when, where and how long, and we'll do the rest

Our Tailor-Made holiday service for Switzerland means just that. Whilst we have access to some wonderful packages through respected tour operators covering all the main resorts, whether you are looking for a skiing, snowboarding or lakes & mountains holiday, we know that these aren’t always as flexible in their start dates and durations as our clients need. You can give us a call, or visit the Contact Us page of the website to send us an e-mail outlining your particular requirements, and we will tailor-make a holiday just for you.

If you can’t manage a full week on the ski slopes, but can only get away for a few days, then, as outlined in the Ski Holidays section we can offer short break packages to a selection of resorts, and can provide you with great advice as to which would suit your requirements and standard of skiing best.
Where our Tailor-Made holiday booking service comes into its own is when you want to investigate different parts of this beautiful country either on a fly-drive basis, where you pick up a rental car at your arrival airport, or drive from the UK, where we can arrange your crossing, and overnight accommodation en route, or using Switzerland’s legendary rail services. There can be no doubt that Swiss trains can get you to places that no other railway service in the world would dare go.
Whilst virtually every train trip will bless you with glimpses of the amazing surroundings, there are certain rail journeys that are truly breath-taking, both from the perspective of the scenery, but also the engineering genius that has made them possible. The most popular are:
The Glacier Express – from Klosters/Davos through to Zermatt, taking in St Moritz;
The Bernina Express – from St Moritz to Poschiavo; and,
The William Tell Express – starting with a steamer trip from Luzern, and then joining the train at Fleulen and on to Bellinzona, and from there to Locarno and Ascona.
There are numerous other great rail journeys that you can discover using one of the many rail passes and travel cards that are available, which are combined with a range of other transportation services, such as lake steamers, buses, cable cars and funiculars. And, just so that you are not short of things to do when you arrive at your destination, the Swiss Passes also include entrance to more than 400 museums across the country.
There’s so much to do, see and experience in Switzerland, you’ll be spoilt for choice for a life-time of holidays.
The Experience Switzerland Travel office is open Monday - Friday between 9.30am and 5pm, and on Saturdays between 9.30am and 1.00pm. We are closed on Sundays.

If you are a client travelling overseas, and need to contact us in an emergency situation, you can call our 24-hour Duty Officer Telephone Number: +44 (0)7766 406759 for information and advice.
